Job Overview
The Product Manager is an integral part of the Development department that drives the product vision and establishes roadmap timelines, and leads the Scrum process to ensure timely and successful product delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our software products and working with the Development Manager to lead our Scrum teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery. Furthermore, candidates will have the ability to take ownership of our products while coordinating with multiple teams to yield the best results for the clients and our business model.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Define & develop the product vision, strategy and roadmap, taking into account market trends and customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product requirements, prioritize features, and plan releases
- Lead and coach Scrum teams on Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure the team is delivering high-quality software on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction
- Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate progress, and handle project risks and issues
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Continuously evaluate product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and estimated
- Collaborating with all teams to optimize the product experience through speed and efficiency
- Observing, compiling, and assessing user feedback to make recommendations on and improve software and product performance
- Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects
- Interface with our internal/external customers to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate direction and progress
- Owning all operational metrics and support for your team’s software
- Working with the product delivery team to ensure the team has accurate and well-communicated requirements
- Observing, compiling, and assessing user feedback to make recommendations on and improve software and product performance

- Working with key stakeholders, prospects, and customers to identify and prioritize product features and functionality
Skills and Experience
- Five plus years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong track record of delivering successful products
- Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum teams
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex software products and technologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in cloud-hosted SAAS (Software as a Service) industry
- Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Builds trust quickly and effortlessly to assume a leadership role
- Strong problem solver and creative thinker
- Intrinsically motivated and driven contributor who gets things done
- Well-organized and values being detail-oriented

Education
- A degree from an accredited university or a minimum of five years of related professional experience
