Job Overview
Project Managers facilitate EMR data migrations throughout the process by serving as project gatekeepers. The Professional Services team is the driving force behind the success of every project for our organization. Daily, Project Managers align projects with business goals, construct detailed work plans and timelines, lead teams, achieve milestones, and communicate results across a stakeholder audience.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the organization, execution, and completion of technical implementation of Aesto Health’s EMR data migration solution from project initiation to project closure, following Aesto Health’s Project Management Methodology
- Manage multiple concurrent projects ranging in complexity, scope, and timelines
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project(s) implementation lifecycle
- Ensure project success, which Aesto Health defines as being on time, within budget, and with the highest degree of client satisfaction
- Set, manage, and communicate project expectations to internal and client team members and stakeholders
- Manage communication of project progress with an internal core team and external stakeholders
- Escalate issues as necessary to the appropriate parties and manage them through resolution
- Identify, socialize, and manage risks against mitigations
- Support Project Associates to ensure time sensitive deliverables are met
- Responsible for generating, updating and communicating project timelines to all project stakeholders, internal and external
- Responsible for identifying, communicating, and managing against risks, including scheduling revised deliverables or updating the project timeline
- Ensure deliverables are on time
- Manage client expectations concerning project status, timelines, and deliverables
- Identify and contribute to process improvement opportunities
- Participate in new team member onboarding, as needed
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated Project Management experience leading small and large, complex technical software implementations
- Excellent fundamental Project Management and business process analysis skills
- EMR and Healthcare IT experience preferred
- Ability to work as an individual contributor to a larger team, with the ability to influence
- Experience building and managing project plans
- Ability to develop and present straightforward, concise, and complete project- and executive-level status reports
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time & within budget
- Experience managing risks and issues against large-scale multi-dependency projects
- Ability to manage concurrent projects with multiple dependencies, cross-program interdependencies, and varying scope
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills
- Leadership skills to delegate tasks and motivate team members to collaborate on projects
- Demonstrated flexibility and creative problem-solving skills
- A desire to learn new skills & technologies
- High level of attention to detail
Education
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five to seven years of related professional experience required
